Great choice for Breakfast

The best place ON the island to eat breakfast these diners could not come close to the coffee shop.. Everyone is very friendly, just love it there. Where see can you still get eggs meat potatoes toast coffee and juice all for 7.80.. NO WHERE!!!

Quaint little coffee shop in a nice neighborhood. Tree lined streets, big homes with front porches. Cafe food is good and service is great. On street parking.

Excellent service. Our waitress was Kim. My order came out quickly and exactly the way I ordered it. This place has a great atmosphere.

Cash only. Staff was friendly. Menu has limited selection and portion sizes seemed a bit small. Prices seemed ok. Honestly, it's fine. Not terrible but with so many other great diners around I know I will not be going back. To be fair it seemed like alot of other people liked it. It was very busy and there was even a wait. If you come with a big party you will not be seated until all are present.

So far, every time I've been here they've been very accommodating, friendly, and the food is as one might expect at a greasy spoon type eatery. But this place offers an "at home" comfort not seen as much these days and especially not around these parts. At least 3 groups came in and were greeted with hugs as if they were family visiting for the holidays... I'm happy to sit quietly, scrolling through various social media, or people watch in this little neighborhood coffee shop, any day of the week.

The positive reviews are true. You never know nowadays. Small place but luckily I was seated immediately by a lady who said "pick any where you'd like to sit". Food was good. Service was good. Right now my number one breakfast spot in Staten Island. Parking outside could be a task. Other than that, no complaints. Pricey. Like Arnold, I'll be back.

Excellent food. Very clean. Fair prices. Mainly breakfast and lunch. Basically a local place for locals. The waitress and even the busboys don't listen to the customer.

Saw the shop as I was walking up Manor Rd and stopped by to try their ice coffee. It was a very hot day. The waitress was very friendly making my ice coffee and asked how I'd like it, how many sugar and creams. It came out to only $2.50 but it was a small cup maybe not even 16oz with some ice in it. It was a really good cup of ice coffee though. Next time I'll only ask for 2 sugars! So good!

Very nice little diner, with a simple menu that provides just enough to be satisfied and know it’s still fresh (what, do you think that big diners with all those menu pages cook things fresh everyday). Had the corn beef hash and eggs recently at the counter...really good...and my coffee cup never got shallow! Gotta get MAGs and Horv here!

Simple food cooked and served well. Wait staff brilliant. Don't go here looking for a huge menu. But they cover the basics well and the specials are always good. Casual and not expensive. Has become our go to place for quick meals out. Not romantic at all and bring cash, or use their ATM.

Have been frequenting island coffee shop S.I. for years my wife and I started eating at George's place on victory blvd. Approximately twenty years ago. After we would take our daughter and our neighbors daughter to karate class we would pick them up and go straight to George's to get breakfast. Island coffee shop s.i has been a staple in the neighborhood for years. Excellent service, good food. The entire staff,from Tina, Gabby, Carlos, Cannello, cooks and kitchen workers will all greet you with a smile and say hello.

It's a small neighborhood coffee shop. The usual breakfast items and friendly staff. They only accept cash, and it a bit pricey for a morning meal.

Great little place with great service. I have eaten there several times, many items are home made, and fresh. Other reviews said the portions were small but I didn't find that at all. I had the turkey club and it covered the entire plate. Fresh turkey too. Would definitely recommend!

They Got One of the Best Penne Vodka with Grilled Chicken Dishes Out There!!! Defanitly goes against any top Italian restaurant any day! Topped with grated cheese!!!

Delicious!!! I'm a huge fan of diners, and a bit of a big critic. This place was fantastic! Everyone was extremely welcoming. We walked in, immediately sat down, was given enough time to look over the menu, and ordered. Our food was brought to us quickly. French toast, sweet potato fries (phenomenal!!), waffle, and lamb gyro. Everything cooked to perfection! Kid friendly. They do not have onsite parking. We were able to find parking in the nearby residential area. I'm not from Staten Island but I would definitely make the drive just to visit again!
